What is Tiny Feet, Big Hearts? I believe that through Irish dance the children learn to master new skills & steps, to build confidence and to grow new friendships. It is ever more important that we encourage our young ones to learn about their cultural heritage and the cultures and traditions of those around them. It is ever more critical that we lead by example. I firmly believe in the spirit of giving back- in whatever ways we can.
So through their "tiny feet" the dancers have the opportunity to show their "big hearts"'.
Since 2000, Mise Eire Irish Dancers (on Long Island) have donated tens of thousands of dollars to a variety of local charities through their year-end performance. We are continuing the tradition here in Saratoga.
The 2017 Tiny Feet, Big Hearts performance raised over $500 which was donated to our local March of Dimes.
This year, our Tiny Feet will be dancing for Saratoga's SNACpack program.
